CCC Admissions Requirements

Thank you for your interest in Central Coast College!

Admission to Central Coast College is an individualized process that is selective and designed to reflect a student’s probable success. Education is one of the biggest investments of time and resources you will make. We want to make sure you will benefit from the training you receive.

We believe in students at Central Coast College. Here, you have a name and a face, not just a number. That’s why we look at the whole person. Our selection criteria for students enrolled in training are:

  • Aptitude
  • Motivation for training
  • Ability to benefit from training

We also require a Certificate of Graduation from a school providing secondary education or a General Educational Development certificate (GED) prior to enrollment. Our Admission Advisors can refer you to a variety of resources for obtaining your High School Diploma or GED.

Students with special needs should contact the Admissions Director during the admissions process to determine how they can be reasonably accommodated.

"I wanted to feel confident in myself, to move on, and Central Coast College - when I first came here, they were so nice to me! They made me feel that I was ready, that I could do it, and they were always there for me - every little question I had, they were there for me."
