Community Relations

Central Coast College is an active member in the surrounding community. Students and staff participate together in events such as the Relay for Life, Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walks, blood drives, SVMH's Annual Fitness Challenge, and they are active in the Monterey and Salinas Valley Chambers of Commerce.

In addition, a strong sense of community is encouraged within the school – events and celebrations are scheduled throughout the year. Although the students are here for a relatively short time, they often form lifetime friendships and frequently return to visit staff and faculty.

Faculty and staff ensure that the training at Central Coast College meets the community’s needs through ongoing surveys and contact with local employees.

"The one thing I am so satisfied about Central Coast College is that as soon as you are finished with your internship, they offer you a job placement. You can always come back and they will always be there to help you find another job."
